Video Rotator is a simple video tool that enables you to perform a particular task: rotate videos. The program offers a straightforward solution for when you need to correct the orientation of a video that appears upside down or sideways on your PC. It also works as a video converter, with support for a bunch of popular formats.
The application has a user-friendly, to-the-point interface with drag and drop support that makes the process easy to carry out. You can load a single video file or a folder with multiple videos and the program will process them in batch mode. Rotation options include 90 degrees clockwise/anticlockwise, horizontal mirror, and flip upside down. Alternatively, the program gives you the possibility to save your video with a different format, as it supports FLV, MOV, MP4, AVI, and MPG as output formats.
For this review, I used a couple of MOV videos recorded with a mobile phone and the application worked really well, fixing the orientation and also preserving the original video quality. So, in spite of its simplicity, it does its job quite well, and the fact that it is a free tool is also a plus.
